Lauren Honeycutt joins HMS Valuations Partners in 2023 with a wealth of expertise in medical practice and hospital accounting practices.  She has a passion for precision as she enjoys working through large data sets to determine and understand the story that the numbers are sharing.  With her background in healthcare accounting and her educational training in business administration, Lauren’s primary focus will be assisting the compensation valuation team in market research and financial and productivity data entry for modelling, benchmarking, and analyzing.   She will work collaboratively with valuation analysts to produce various ad hoc / special projects along with helping complete sections of our written valuations/consulting reports.  Lauren’s focus on accuracy in assessing data and performing research makes her a vital member of the HMS team.

Experienced

Lauren is a graduate of Belhaven University where she received her bachelor’s degree in business administration and management. She has four years of experience working as in corporate tax as well as a financial analyst.  At Baton Rough General, she was responsible for maintaining the treasure structure and bank accounts, producing analytical reports, and collaborating with upper management on projects to streamline the financial processes of the system.  Most recently, she worked as a financial analyst at The NeuroMedical Center where she managed many of their accounting functions from daily cash reporting to assisting with month end close.  She brings a strong healthcare accounting foundation to her work with HMS Valuation Partners and the clients she serves.

Value Outside Work

My favorite things to do as a kid were. . .

Playing dress up with friends, running through puddles with my little brother and watching lots of Disney movies. I also enjoyed years of dance lessons and annual family beach trips.

As a big kid, I like to. . . 

Attend concerts and sporting events, explore new places and enjoy a great book.

Travel the world with my fiancé and our future family.
