Value At Work

About the Numbers

Eduardo Ricks conducts analysis and market research to establish the fair market rate associated with all goods and services (space, furniture and equipment, and other services) provided in timeshare lease valuation arrangements, and financial statement analysis and forecasting for business valuation engagements.

Eduardo primarily works with medical facilities looking to sublease shared medical office space—either as the Lessor leasing to 3rd party physicians, or as the Lessee sending employed physicians to 3rd party facilities. These timeshare leases require correspondence with multiple parties, including hospital administrators, property managers, and service vendors, to compile the details of each unique arrangement and produce a vetted fair market value report.

Eduardo is a licensed Certified Public Accountant with a strong background in public accounting.

Experienced

Eduardo graduated Summa Cum Laude from Southeastern Louisiana University in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Bachelor of Business Administration concentrating in Economics. He received the university’s Outstanding Academic Award in Economics in 2015, the Distinguished Graduate in Business Administration in 2016, and one of the university’s highest awards, the President’s Award, upon graduation.

Prior to joining HMS Valuation Partners, Eduardo worked in public accounting as an associate assisting in government and bank audits, preparing individual and pass-through entity tax returns, and conducting tax research.

Value Outside Work

My favorite things to do as a kid were. . .
I loved to play with Legos and cheesy Lego movies, study military history, and watch Word War II documentaries. Most importantly, I grew up admiring the New York Yankees dominate baseball!

As a big kid, I like to. . .
I now watch a lot more history documentaries and I still watch the Yankees play good baseball. I love ministry, especially serving with the kid’s ministry and playing piano at church.

One of the things I hope to do. . .
Run a marathon, do a stand-up routine at a comedy club, and visit all continents (except for Antarctica).
