Value At Work

Hardworking

Joining HMS Valuation Partners in early 2005, Michael Hingle (“Mike”) has extensive valuation experience having personally completed thousands of valuation engagements in the healthcare industry. He specializes in on-call and subsidy coverage arrangements of all specialties and has valuation experience involving fair market valuation opinions for compensation arrangements, including professional service agreements, physician employment agreements, and administrative arrangements. Mike generally works with hospital CEOs/CFOs/Administrators looking to execute contracts for various physician services.

Experienced

Mike graduated from William Carey University with a B.S. in Management in 2002, and the University of New Orleans with a Master’s Degree in Healthcare Management in 2004. Prior to joining HMS, Mike worked himself through college as a Technology Manager where he managed multiple employees, inventory, sales goals, customers and meetings. In fact, Mike’s department earned the #1 spot in Sales for the region. This experience has enabled Mike to juggle multiple valuation engagements and deadlines, while always keeping the client as his top priority. Mike is eligible to be a Certified Valuation Analyst with the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts.

Service-Minded

With a strong appreciation for client service, Mike relishes in the opportunity to establish a personal connection with his clients and over-deliver on service. Clients often comment that they value Mike’s quick turnarounds and ability to meet tight deadlines. Hearing “thank you” from a hospital CEO for the vital work performed in an expedited manner gives Mike great satisfaction and purpose in the healthcare valuation industry.

Value Outside Work

My favorite things to do as a kid were. . .
I would spend every evening outside playing pitch and catch with my Dad, which eventually turned into being scouted by several major-league baseball teams and a college scholarship.

As a big kid, I like to. . .
Spend time with my wife and four kids, and go on family vacations (our favorite places are Disney World and Gatlinburg).

One of the things I hope to do. . .
Buy a chalet in the Smokey Mountains.
