Rel Armistead joined HMS Valuation Partners in 2008. He focuses on analysis and market research for fixed asset valuations and fixed asset lease rate valuations, including furniture, equipment, supplies, trade names, websites, assembled workforce, and other intangible assets. Rel has also been instrumental in assisting with the furniture and equipment component of timeshare lease valuations. His client valuations range from small physician practices to large multi-location operations. Rel’s projects have also included hospitals, surgical centers, and medical imaging centers.
Experienced
Rel graduated from Louisiana State University with a B.M. and a B.M.Ed. in Education. He started his career as a high school teacher instructing in the areas of Advanced Mathematics, Pre-Calculus and Trigonometry. He moved on to become a licensed building contractor, where he managed the day-to-day operations of multiple construction related projects (numerous single-family homes as well as multi-family condominiums), crews and their related financial administration. His attention to detail, project management expertise, analytical mindset, and experience assessing real estate assets positioned him to transition seamlessly into medical asset valuations.

Playing any game with the other boys in the neighborhood, especially when it involved running wild in the woods.

One of the things I hope to do. . .
Visit the Pearl Harbor Memorial in Hawaii. My father was a Pearl Harbor survivor whose recounting events of that day left a lasting impression on me as a young boy.
