Please join us in congratulating HMS Partner, Mike Vetter as he marks an incredible 20 years of service with HMS Valuation Partners. Since joining HMS in 2003, Mike has been an invaluable asset, consistently demonstrating his expertise, dedication, and unwavering commitment to excellence.
From the beginning, Mike has played a pivotal role at the firm. In the early years Mike brought his public accounting experience to work on numerous healthcare full business valuations spanning individual physician practices, imaging centers, surgery centers, nursing homes, etc. However, as the industry started shifting from income approach full business valuations Mike transitioned his focus to Medical Office / Space Sharing FMV engagements, Fixed Asset Valuations, and Financial Statement/Productivity Analysis which he still oversees to this day.
Over the course of his tenure with HMS Valuation Partners, Mike has personally undertaken thousands medial office timeshare / space distribution valuations, as well as hundreds of full business and fixed asset valuations serving a diverse range of clients. His exceptional skills in financial analysis and market research have allowed him to provide invaluable insights and comprehensive valuation opinions that have greatly benefited our clients.
Some of Mike’s professional certification accomplishments include being a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) with the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts and a Senior Accredited Appraiser in the M&E specialty with the American Society of Appraisers.
One aspect that truly sets Mike apart is his commitment to going beyond the numbers and partnering with his clients to ensure the accuracy and timing of his valuations. Mike has been known to put anything to the side to meet his client’s requests, including additional hours or shifting projects to see a client meet their personal deadlines and family vacation schedules.
Beyond his technical expertise, Mike’s warm and approachable demeanor has made him a cherished colleague and friend to all who have had the privilege of working with him. His willingness to share his knowledge, mentor others, and provide guidance has helped shape the careers of many within our organization.
